What is Alexa?
Alexa is the electronic personal assistant featured in Amazon Echo products that helps you perform a host of different tasks.
What do I need to get started?
All you need is your Eight Sleep Tracker, an Alexa-enabled device, and a solid Wifi connection.
What are the steps to set up the integration?
- Once you have set up your Eight, find the Eight skill in the Amazon Alexa app. When you click to "Enable Skill" you will be asked to enter your Eight username and password to link the accounts.
- You are now able to communicate with Eight. Tell Alexa to ask Eight how you slept last night, or to control the warming of your bed!
What is the list of commands that I can use?
Alexa, ask Eight how did I sleep last night? / Alexa, ask Eight how I slept?
Alexa will read off your sleep data from last night and rate the quality of your sleep
Alexa, ask Eight how did we sleep?
Alexa will read off your and your partner’s sleep data from last night and rate the quality of your sleep
Alexa, ask Eight what is my sleep score?
Alexa will read off your sleep data including the sleep score
Alexa, tell Eight my bed is cold. / Alexa, ask Eight to warm up my bed.
Alexa will turn bed warming on
Alexa, tell Eight my bed is too hot.
Alexa will turn off bed warming
Alexa, ask Eight to warm up the right side.
Alexa will turn on bed warming on the right side
Alexa, ask Eight to warm up the left side.
Alexa will turn on bed warming on the left side

Can my partner ask about my data?
If your partner wants to get your sleep information from Alexa, you will need to share their sleep metrics with the main Eight account linked to Alexa.
